Leaving Alaska by Adam Shand

We eventually got tickets, movers and all the other stuff sorted and got on the plane to Anchorage on the 26th of June.

After a sleep, we flew up to Teresa's family cabin at Trapper Lake, where we did very little. We normally visit Alaska for Christmas, so it was nice to be back in the height of summer. The best part was lying in a small boat in the middle of the lake looking straight up at Denali and feeling like I'm floating on top of the world.

We managed to track down old friends for a BBQ, it was nice to catch up.

Tomorrow we get on the plane for Wellington, New Zealand.
