Defiance
I've been thinking about this picture a lot recently. It's a photo of a Sentinelese man firing an arrow at a helicopter that was checking on them after the 2004 tsunami.
They are one of the last uncontacted people's in the world.
It seems almost ridiculous that a tribe on a small island, has successfully rejected the modern world. Why was this small tribe able to defend their boundaries?
I'm fascinated by the power of their defiance.
